    Carolin’s experience includes advising:

    • A consortium of international banks on the €1.275bn financing of the 400 MW offshore wind farm Veja Mate in the German North Sea.
    • PGGM on its acquisition of a significant interest in the German offshore wind farm Baltic 2. PGGM has invested in Baltic 2 through its PGGM Infrastructure Fund 2014 and as the lead investor in an international consortium. The project is reportedly the first German offshore wind transaction to employ a ‘holdco financing’ structure.
    • EWE AG on all legal matters for the joint venture development of the German offshore wind farm Borkum West II – second phase.
    • Stadtwerke Stuttgart on the acquisition of a 15 MW wind farm in Bad Hersfeld in Hesse in Germany, from ABO Wind.
    • HSH Nordbank AG bei der €64.5m financing of Danish solar park Vandel.
    • Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners in relation to its joint venture with TenneT Holding B.V. regarding its investment in the offshore grid connection DolWin3, which will transmit wind energy from the North Sea to German customers.
    • The US commercial real estate property developer Panattoni Europe on the €16m sale of a 29,000m2 logistics centre in the Bremen Cargo Distribution Centre to the British-French investment firm AEW Europe.
    • Allianz Capital Partners GmbH on the acquisition of a German onshore wind farm with a total capacity of 24 MW from the Danish company K/S VindInvest Cottbuser See.
    • Industrielle Werke Basel on the acquisition of wind farm Große Schanze in Saxony-Anhalt with a capacity of 30 MW from two individuals involved with Saxovent Ökologische Investments GmbH & Co. KG and Terrawatt Planungsgesellschaft mbH.
