WFW advises the VALOREM Group on €200m 143 MW portfolio refinancing29 November 2024

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) advised independent French renewable energy operator VALOREM Group on the global refinancing of a portfolio of 12 solar and 8 wind power assets representing a total installed capacity of 143 MW.

This refinancing, structured around new senior debt of almost €200m, was raised by a consortium of lenders comprising Société Générale, Group Crédit Agricole, BPCE Energeco, Auxifip, Crédit Lyonnais and Natixis. The funds raised will enable VALOREM Group to consolidate its financial structure, finalise the repayment of existing equity loans (crowdfunding) raised in auction processes, stabilise its long-term commitments and free up resources to accelerate the commissioning of future renewable energy production assets.
