Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised HSH Nordbank AG on the implementation of and related negotiations for the financing of the construction, development and operation of two photovoltaic plants in France with an overall capacity of 18.58 MW. The firm also led on the preliminary due diligence review and the negotiation of project contracts.
The 11.547 MW Greoux 7 plant is located in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region and the 7.0298 MW Salaunes 3 plant in the Gironde. Both plants were developed by SolaireDirect and are owned by two projects companies acquired by KGAL, a leading, independent asset and investment manager with an investment volume of €21.5bn, across 87,000 investors.
The multidisciplinary WFW team advising HSH Nordbank AG was led by Partner Laurence Martinez-Bellet, assisted by finance Senior Associate Sébastien Hoff and Associate Arnaud Conquis. Regulatory/project contracts, corporate and tax advice was provided by teams led respectively by Partners, Laurent Battoue, Arnaud Félix and Romain Girtanner. Hamburg Partner Thomas Hollenhorst advised on the German law aspects of the transaction.
