Britta is a Partner in the Energy group.
She has over 15 years’ experience specialising in energy and energy trading law and advises clients on all issues concerning the regulation of the energy industry and contractual matters, with a focus on energy related issues. Her expertise covers particularly the areas of contract negotiation and drafting of energy trading and energy supply contracts, PPAs and all energy contractual arrangements that energy suppliers are dealing with in the context of implementing the energy transition. Britta also advises clients taking their first steps into hydrogen projects.
Further, Britta regularly advises on power plant projects, joint ventures and co-operations in the energy sector.
Her clients include energy trading companies, utilities, power plant operators as well as industrial companies, network operators and project financing banks.
- Advising Enervie Group on its first-of-its-kind outsourcing agreement with the German municipalities of Plettenberg and Werdohl in the North-Rhine Westphalia region to manage their gas and water supply for an initial term of 10 years on a fixed lease income basis.
- Advising enercity Erneuerbare GmbH, a subsidiary of enercity AG, on its acquisition of the ‘Horizon’ wind farm portfolio consisting of 60 onshore wind farms with a total capacity of 365 MW based in north-west Lower Saxony, Germany, from the owners of the Norderland Group.
- Advising enercity Erneuerbare GmbH on a cooperation agreement with local company Forst Rohne to build a wind farm in the Görlitz area of Germany’s Saxony region that will generate 540m kWh of green energy annually.
- Advising ING Bank, UniCredit Bank AG and another German major bank on a KfW backed long-term financing of the waste-to-energy plant (Müllheizkraftwerk Wiesbaden) currently under construction in Wiesbaden, Germany.
- Advising Marguerite One Sàrl on the sale of the 88.8 MW Marguerite Wind Celsius GmbH portfolio, which holds shares in the Grimsås and Brännliden wind farms in Sweden to Aneo Production Holding AS.

Britta Wißmann ist Partner in der Energy Group.
Sie ist seit über 15 Jahren auf das Energie- und Energiehandelsrecht spezialisiert und berät Mandanten in allen Fragen der Regulierung der Energiewirtschaft sowie in Vertragsangelegenheiten, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf energiebezogenen Fragen liegt. Ihre Expertise umfasst insbesondere die Bereiche der Vertragsgestaltung von Energiehandels- und Energielieferverträgen, PPAs und allen energievertraglichen Gestaltungen, die Energieversorger im Rahmen der Implementierung der Energiewende beschäftigen. Britta Wißmann berät zudem auch Mandanten, die ihre ersten Schritte in Wasserstoffprojekte wagen.
Darüber hinaus berät Britta Wißmann regelmäßig bei Kraftwerksprojekten, Joint Ventures und Kooperationen im Energiesektor.
Zu ihren Mandanten zählen Energiehandelsunternehmen, Versorger, Kraftwerksbetreiber sowie Industrieunternehmen und projektfinanzierende Banken.
- Beratung der Enervie Gruppe bei einer neuartigen Vereinbarung zum Management der Gas- und Wasserversorgung der deutschen Kommunen Plettenberg und Werdohl in Nordrhein-Westfalen.
- Beratung der enercity Erneuerbare GmbH, einer Tochter der enercity AG, beim Erwerb des 365 MW “Horizon” Windparkportfolios, welches 60 Onshore-Windparks umfasst, von den Eigentümern der Norderland-Gruppe.
- Beratung der enercity Erneuerbare GmbH bei einer Kooperationsvereinbarung mit dem lokalen Unternehmen Forst Rohne zum Bau eines Windparks im Raum Görlitz in Sachsen, welcher jährlich 540 Mio. kWh Ökostrom erzeugen wird.
- Beratung der ING Bank, der UniCredit Bank AG und einer weiteren deutschen Großbank bei der von der KfW gestützten langfristigen Finanzierung des im Bau befindlichen Müllheizkraftwerks Wiesbaden.
- Beratung von Marguerite One Sàrl beim Verkauf des 88,8-MW-Portfolios der Marguerite Wind Celsius GmbH an die Aneo Production Holding AS.
