Located in Foggia in the southern region of Apulia, the 13 MW plant produces electric and thermal energy from biomass.
The transaction marks a key step in PSL’s aim to reach 5 GW of renewable capacity across Europe by 2026.
The portfolio comprises three under-development ground-mounted photovoltaic projects to be built in the Tuscany and Sicily regions.
The projects will help Italy achieve its target of installing around 6-7 GW of renewable energy capacity annually by 2030.
The wind farm consists of 22 wind turbines and can produce an average of 100 MWh of electricity per year.
