WFW to expand German employment law practice with Munich team hire10 October 2019

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is pleased to announce that employment law expert Dr Philipp Byers is joining the firm as a Partner in its Munich office on 1st January 2020. He was previously a Partner and head of the employment law practice group at Lutz Abel in the same city. Two Associates will also be joining WFW with Philipp.

Philipp focusses on providing employment project-related legal advice, especially regarding workplace privacy (Beschäftigtendatenschutz) and employment law compliance issues. He is recognised for his expertise by leading legal directories JUVE 2019, who rank him as one of the top five German employment lawyers under 40, and Legal 500 EMEA 2019 who praise his “structured approach and extensive negotiating skills” and “understanding of client requirements”.
