WFW enhances aviation disputes offering with new Partner hire5 June 2023

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is delighted to announce that dispute resolution and aviation expert Tim Murray has joined the firm as a Partner in London.

Tim has over 20 years’ experience working on a wide range of aviation and travel-related dispute resolution matters both in the English courts and in arbitrations. His areas of expertise include leasing, aircraft finance, insurance (with a particular focus on advising the insured party), aircraft repossessions, aircraft engineering and technical issues, accidents and general contractual disputes. He also advises on a wide range of regulatory issues including matters before the European Commission, the UK Civil Aviation Authority and the UK Department for Transport. His clients include aircraft lessors and financiers, airports, operators and other businesses within the aviation sector.

Tim’s expertise is well-recognised in the legal community with him being ranked in Band 2 for Aviation Dispute Resolution in the 2023 edition of Chambers UK and as a Leading Lawyer for Transport: Aviation in the Legal 500 2023.
