PHILIPP IS HEAD OF THE FRANKFURT OFFICE AND heading THE german DISPUTE RESOLUTION GROUP.

Philipp specialises in advising and representing his national and international clients in all areas of litigation and arbitration as well as in alternative dispute resolution. In recent years, he has represented numerous clients in a wide variety of industries, including transportation, infrastructure and energy. These large-scale disputes typically relate to corporate, construction and commercial law, including pre-litigation advice. In particular, he has experience with shareholder disputes, disputes between consortium partners, joint venture projects or joint ventures. Another focus of his work is the liability of executive bodies (D&O) and Tech-Litigation Cases.

He has many years of experience in advising parties in national and international arbitration proceedings. He acts as an arbitrator, with post-M&A disputes, infrastructure projects and contract and commercial disputes being the most frequent topics of arbitration.

Philipp was awarded the Client Choice Award 2018 for Arbitration & ADR, 2019 for Litigation, 2021 and 2022 as Best Lawyer in Germany for Arbitration by Handelsblatt and Leading Lawyer in Germany 2021 for Litigation by Wirtschaftswoche.

Philipp Kärcher ist spezialisiert auf die Beratung und Vertretung seiner nationalen und internationalen Mandanten in allen Bereichen der gerichtlichen Prozessführung und in Schiedsverfahren sowie in der alternativen Streitbeilegung. In den letzten Jahren hat er zahlreiche Mandanten in den verschiedensten Branchen vertreten, z.B. in der Transport-, Infrastruktur- und Energiewirtschaft. Diese großangelegten Streitigkeiten betreffen typischerweise die Bereiche Gesellschafts-, Bau- und Handelsrecht, einschließlich der vorprozessualen Beratung. Insbesondere hat er Erfahrung mit Gesellschafterstreitigkeiten, Streitigkeiten zwischen Konsortialpartnern, Joint-Venture-Projekten oder Arbeitsgemeinschaften. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt seiner Tätigkeit ist die Organhaftung.

Philipp verfügt über langjährige Erfahrung in der Beratung von Parteien in nationalen und internationalen Schiedsverfahren. Er ist als Schiedsrichter tätig, wobei die häufigsten Themen der Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit Post-M&A-Streitigkeiten, Infrastrukturprojekte und Vertrags- und Handelsstreitigkeiten sind.
