Philipp is an Associate in the Regulatory, Public Law & Competition Group.
Philipp focusses on energy and infrastructure law and advises in all aspects of regulatory law. He wrote his doctoral thesis on the sustainable transition of financial markets and comments on different provisions of the EU Taxonomy Regulation both in the Edward Elgar Commentary on EU Sustainable Finance Law (2024) and the German-language “Beck’scher Kommentar zur Taxonomie-VO” (2024). During his legal clerkship he worked in the industry department of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.

Dr. Philipp Kleiner berät im gesamten öffentlichen Recht, schwerpunktmäßig im Energie- und Infrastrukturrecht. Er promovierte zur nachhaltigen Transformation der Finanzmärkte und kommentiert verschiedene Vorschriften der EU Taxonomie-Verordnung sowohl im Edward Elgar Commentary on EU Sustainable Finance Law (2024) als auch im Beck’schen Kommentar zur Taxonomie-VO (2024). Während seines Rechtsreferendariats absolvierte er eine Station in der Industrieabteilung des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz.
