Airline Economics names three WFW Aviation Partners to 40 under 40 2020 list5 August 2020

Watson Farley & Williams is delighted that leading sector publication Airline Economics has named three of the firm’s Aviation Partners to its prestigious “40 under 40 2020” list recognising the most outstanding individuals in that age group active in the commercial aviation industry.

The firm’s listed Partners are:

Dominic Pearson (Aviation, Assets & Structured Finance, London) was made up to Partner in April 2020, having joined the firm as Counsel in January 2019 from Milbank LLP in New York City. Dominic was recognised as one of only a handful of lawyers with real expertise and experience in both the key London and New York aviation finance markets, as well as one of the main architects of the Global Aircraft Trading System (GATS), the online platform for trading leased aircraft and the most significant innovation the aircraft finance and leasing industry has seen to date (see more here re GATS);

Patrick Moore (Aviation, Assets & Structured Finance, London) was made up to Partner in April 2020, having joined the firm as a Trainee. Patrick was recognised for his ability to apply financing and structuring techniques to complex and novel scenarios, as well as having advised on numerous unique or first-of-their-kind transactions; and

Pete O’Hare (Aviation, Assets & Structured Finance, London) joined the firm as a Partner in September 2019 from Milbank LLP in London. He was recognised for having advised on an array of award-winning transactions, including in the capital markets space, leading to him being made up to Partner at the age of 33.
