WFW delivers strong Q1 energy and infrastructure league table results9 May 2023

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is pleased to have achieved a strong set of rankings in the Q1 2023 energy and infrastructure league tables by leading publications IJGlobal, Infralogic and inspiratia.

The firm achieved excellent rankings in the Infralogic Q1 2023 league tables with over 50 rankings in the top 20 of their respective categories. This includes the following 18 top tier rankings:

  • 1st by all deal count, EMEA;
  • 1st by all deal count, Europe;
  • 1st by deal count, Project Finance, EMEA;
  • 1st by deal count, Project Finance, Europe;
  • 1st by deal count, Project Finance, EU;
  • Joint 1st by deal count, Project Finance, Germany;
  • 1st by deal count, Project Finance, Italy;
  • 1st by deal count, Project Finance, Spain;
  • Joint 1st by deal count, M&A, EMEA;
  • Joint 1st by deal count, M&A, Europe;
  • Joint 1st by deal count, M&A, EU;
  • 1st by deal count, Renewables and Energy Transition, EMEA;
  • 1st by deal count, Renewables and Energy Transition, Europe;
  • 1st by deal count, Renewables and Energy Transition, EU;
  • 1st by deal count, Renewables and Energy Transition, France;

In the inspiratia rankings, the firm performed exceptionally well, placing second  in the renewables table with a total deal count of 19, and joint fourth in the infrastructure table.

The firm also performed well in the IJGlobal rankings with three top 20 rankings including climbing 14 places for deal value into the top 20 for Oil & Gas project finance.
