Henry has extensive finance, commercial and corporate experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors and has advised on a large number of landmark transactions in the renewables sector.
He is recognised as a leading lawyer by legal directories Chambers UK, Legal 500 UK and IFLR 1000. In 2021, Chambers reported clients as saying they appreciate “how commercial he is, as he is able to quickly quantify the commercial impact of any discussion point and therefore determine its importance as a point of focus. He is also very good when it comes to explaining complex issues”.

- Advising Lightsource bp (“LSbp”) on a US$1.8bn revolving credit facility to be used for its global growth strategy of developing 25 GW of solar energy by 2025. The facility encompasses multiple currencies and trade financing features, providing LSbp with flexible corporate financing across its group to help deliver its strategy in the UK, continental Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific.
- Advising InfraRed Capital Partners Limited, investment manager to The Renewables Infrastructure Group (“TRIG”), on TRIG’s acquisition of a 17.5% equity interest in the Beatrice offshore wind farm from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners.
- Advising Green Investment Group as sponsor on the construction financing of an onshore wind farm portfolio in Sweden and Norway with a total installed capacity of 170 MW.
- Advising Nord/LB on financing the 307 MW Hästkullen wind farm and the 167 MW Björnlandhöjden wind farm, together one of Europe’s largest onshore wind clusters, which included one of Europe’s largest onshore wind corporate PPAs.
- Advising RBS and MUFG among others in relation to the OFTO tranche for the award winning £1.3bn financing for PKA and PFA’s acquisition of 50% of the 659 MW Walney Extension offshore wind farm.
