Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is pleased to have another strong set of results in the H1 2023 energy and infrastructure league table rankings in leading sector publications IJGlobal, Infralogic and inspiratia.
The firm’s Infralogic rankings build on the success achieved in Q1, with 71 top 20 rankings, including 58 in the top 10 and 18 number one rankings.
The top rankings include:
- 1st by overall deal count, EMEA;
- 1st by overall deal count, Europe;
- Joint first by overall deal count, France;
- 1st by overall deal count, Spain;
- 1st by deal count, Project Finance, EMEA;
- 1st by deal count, Project Finance, Europe;
- 1st by deal count, Project Finance, France;
- 1st by deal count, Project Finance, Italy;
- 1st by deal count, Project Finance, Spain;
- 1st by deal count, Energy Transitions and Renewables, EMEA;
- 1st by deal count, Energy Transitions and Renewables, Europe;
- Joint 1st by deal count, Energy Transitions and Renewables, France;
- 1st by deal count, Energy Transitions and Renewables, Spain;
- 1st by deal count, Renewables, Global;
- 1st by deal count, Renewables, EMEA;
- 1st by deal count, Renewables, Europe;

In addition, the firm received ten new rankings one of which was the top spot for deal count, Project Finance, Italy.
WFW’s IJGlobal rankings saw notable improvements, particularly in the infrastructure space, which saw a rise from 15th to 10th place for Global Infrastructure, a huge leap from 37th to 18th place for Transport Infrastructure and a new ranking for MENA Infrastructure.
Rounding up, inspiratia saw the firm ranked second place by deal count and take top spot for the highest total disclosed transaction volume.
