With an investment program, the Federal Ministry of Health is providing clinics and hospitals with a digital update. From January 1, 2021, the federal government will provide 3 billion euros so that hospitals can invest in modern emergency capacities, digitization and their IT security. The “Hospitals Future Program”, which the coalition decided on June 3, 2020, will be implemented. The KHZG came into force on September 28, 2020.
