WFW Global Maritime Sector Head Lindsey Keeble included in Lloyd’s List Top 10 Maritime Lawyers 202129 November 2021

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is pleased to announce that Global Maritime Sector Co-Head Lindsey Keeble has been named one of Lloyd’s List’s Top 10 Maritime Lawyers for 2021, a highly prestigious accolade. This is the second time that Lindsey has been named in the top ten list following her inclusion in 2019.

Lloyd’s List’s annual Top 10 Maritime Lawyers ranking spans private practice solicitors, in-house counsel and barristers worldwide, making it one of the most impressive honours a maritime-focussed lawyer can achieve in their career.

As one of the leading women on the London shipping law scene, Lindsey was recognised for her role as a key thought-leader on environmental, social and governance issues and her role in co-authoring of WFW’s The Sustainability Imperative – Part 1 which won recently won the Green Finance award from the Shipping Professional Network London at this year’s London International Shipping Week. She was also praised for WFW being awarded gold standard certification by the Women in Leadership Empowerment Forum for the third successive year whilst under her watch.

Earlier this year, Lindsey was recognised as Shipping and Maritime Lawyer of the Year at Euromoney’s Women in Business Law Awards, further affirmation of her standing as a leading legal advisor to the shipping industry worldwide and of her influence in advancing women and diversity and inclusion in the legal industry.

Lindsey comments: “It is a privilege to be included once again in Lloyd’s List’s highly regarded annual Top Ten ranking of the world’s leading maritime lawyers. This recognition could not have been achieved without the continued dedication and enthusiasm of my talented colleagues in the firm’s Maritime Group worldwide. I am grateful for their invaluable help”.
