WFW advises Perpetua on acquisition of majority stake in Nothelle21 June 2021

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised Perpetua Holding GmbH (“Perpetua”) on its acquisition of a majority stake in Nothelle Call-Center Services GmbH and Nothelle Outsourcing Services GmbH (jointly “Nothelle”) from its founding shareholder. The financial terms of the transaction remain confidential.

Perpetua will work with Nothelle’s existing manager and former owner Maurice Nothelle, who retains his position going forward, to accelerate the companies’ organic growth strategy, expand their service portfolio and target further investment opportunities.

Berlin-headquartered Perpetua focusses on long-term investments into stable, small and medium-sized enterprises (“SMEs”) across Europe. Duisburg-based Nothelle owns and operates call centres offering technical support and sales campaign services to clients. They are the preferred partner in their field for both international blue-chip and SME clients in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The WFW Germany team that advised Perpetua was led by Corporate Partner and WFW Germany Head Marcus Bechtel, working closely with fellow Partners Verena Scheibe (Tax), Andreas Wiegreffe (Employment) and Christine Bader (Regulatory). They were supported by, among others, Of Counsel Torge Rademacher (IP/IT), Managing Associates Carolin Woggon (Corporate), Tanja Mado (Corporate) and Nora Fleischhauer (Employment) and Senior Associates Robert Mueller (Corporate) and Verena Weider (Tax).

Marcus commented: “We’re very pleased to have advised Perpetua on this strategic acquisition, demonstrating as it does WFW’s increasing reputation for corporate legal excellence across all sectors in Germany”.
