Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) advised fast-growing air freight operator MSC Air Cargo on its purchase order for five 777-8 Boeing freighters, its first ever for aircraft of that type.
Announced at the UK’s prestigious Farnborough Airshow, the order represents a major investment in MSC Air Cargo’s long-term future. The industry’s most capable twin-engine freighter, the 777-8 gives MSC Air Cargo the efficiency, range and capacity to serve its customers, whilst enhancing its commitment to sustainable operations.
MSC Air Cargo is a subsidiary of leading global transportation and logistics company MSC Group. Operational since 2022, it operates a modern fleet of Boeing 777-200 Freighters serving key markets and destinations across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
The WFW London Aviation team that advised MSC Air Cargo was led by Partner Randeep Bubbra, supported by Senior Associate Liam Clozier.
