Riko specialises in all aspects of infrastructure and energy transactions. Riko has extensive experience in the project development, the project financing, the export credit financing and the restructuring of such transactions and covers a wide range of infrastructure and energy sectors including airports, ports, roads, tunnels, hospitals, waste, solar, wind and hydro. Riko has a particular expertise in PPP transactions. He acts for project developers, sponsors, equity investors, project companies, multilaterals, ECAs and other finance parties in national and international transactions. Riko is English law qualified.

  • Advising the lenders and UKEF in the financing of a 1,350 GW photovoltaic power plant in the Karapinar region, Konya, Turkey.
  • Advising the project company (a JV of the Sponsors, Türkeler and Astaldi) in the original PPP financing of the Etlik Integrated Healthcare Facility in Ankara and in the EUR 1.1 billion restructuring. The restructuring is one of Turkey’s largest restructurings.
