Giovanni is an Associate in the Milan office of Watson Farley & Williams’ Corporate department.
He specialises in corporate and commercial law and supports the team on cross-border and domestic transactions, providing assistance on due diligence activities in relation to a wide range of corporate matters, with particular reference to energy and infrastructure sectors.
Giovanni obtained his Law Degree (J.D. equivalent) from the University “Cattolica del Sacro Cuore” of Milan in 2016. In 2018, he was admitted to the Italian Bar.
- - Advising Italian renewable energy holding company K.R.Energy S.p.A. (“K.R. Energy”) on the preliminary agreement for its sale of Idroelettrica Tosco Emiliana S.r.l. (“ITE”) to Energy Opportunity S.r.l.
- Advising Werdenfelser Wasserkraft GmbH (“WW”) on a €20m+ financing provided by Bayern LB, for the construction of a 10 MW hydropower plant in the Valle d’Aosta region (Italy).
- Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW“) advised Blue Elephant Energy AG (“BEE”), on its acquisition of a 22 MW solar portfolio in Italy, from Viridis Energia S.r.l. (“Viridis”).
- Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW“) advised Genera Group (“Genera”), one of Italy’s leading energy efficiency holding companies, on its agreement with Pandora Green S.p.A., an Italian company specialising in providing integrated energy efficiency and cost reduction solutions worldwide.
- Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised AIM-traded Saffron Energy Plc (“Saffron Energy”) on its agreements to acquire the Italian oil & gas portfolios of each of Sound Energy Plc, listed on AIM (“Sound Energy”) and Po Valley Energy Ltd, listed on ASX (“Po Valley”).

Giovanni è un Associate nel dipartimento Corporate dell’ufficio di Milano.
Collabora con il team nelle attività di due diligence in riferimento ad una vasta gamma di operazioni in ambito corporate, sia livello nazionale che internazionale, in particolare nei settori energia ed infrastrutture.
Giovanni ha conseguito la laurea in giurisprudenza presso l’Università “Cattolica del Sacro Cuore” di Milano nel 2016 e nel 2018 ha superato l’esame di abilitazione alla professione di Avvocato.
