Andreas Kaplanis

Andreas is an Associate in the Assets & Structured Finance Group.

Andreas is a qualified Greek lawyer and member of the Athens Bar Association, with a diverse legal background spanning international transactions, shipping finance and Greek litigation.

He advises banks and financial institutions on a wide range of matters, including financings, restructurings, loan portfolio transfers and all aspects of loan and security documentation. Before focussing on shipping and transactional work, he practised as a litigator in Greek courts.

Andreas holds a Master of Laws in Private Law and Business Transactions from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is fluent in English and French.
