The Employment Group will look at the challenges of “hybrid” flexible working and recent developments in employment law.
The panel will look at the issue many employers are facing of deciding how much flexibility they will give to their employees’ working arrangements and ask whether refusing flexible working can ever be justified post-Covid.
They will consider other post-Covid pitfalls, such as the dangers of having a two-tier workforce and the possible mental health, monitoring, discrimination and management issues that may arise. Recent significant decisions in the following areas will also be examined:
- harassment
- worker status
- shared parental leave
- constructive dismissal
- discrimination
The speakers will be: Devan Khagram, Hannah Myers, Sarah Gill, Emma Bradding and Elena Cooper.
