Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) Athens is delighted to announce it has won the gold prize for “Equal Opportunities/Benefits for Women” at the 2025 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Awards (“DEI”) organised by Boussias Events (“Boussias”).
Boussias is a leading B2B conference and awards organiser that recognises Greek and Cypriot businesses and organisations for their commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
WFW Athens was recognised for its efforts to further the gender balance, through increasing the number of women in leadership roles at the firm and its inclusive policies supporting women in the workplace. Its popular Women in Shipping and Women in Energy and Infrastructure events, which has platformed over 250 women working in these sectors in Greece, was also commended.
The award was accepted by Partners Marsila Karpida and Virginia Murray, HR Manager Chryssa Ntinou, HR Administrator Rania Dimitriou and Business Development Executive Anna Agrevi – all of whom are members of the firm’s We Further Women global initiative.
Marsila commented: “I am delighted that we have been awarded the gold prize and that We Further Women’s successes have been recognised. One of our biggest goals is to build an inclusive and equal working environment for all our people, fostering unity among individuals from diverse backgrounds”.
Virginia added: “It was an inspiring ceremony, celebrating the achievements of a diverse range of organisations using innovation and creativity to weave an invisible thread to connect us all with each other. WFW and the other winners do not take action because it’s fashionable, but because it is both right and good for our businesses”.
