Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is pleased to announce its relocation to 25 Moorgate in the heart of the City of London. This represents a significant milestone in the firm’s ongoing investment in its global office network and commitment to providing a first-class environment for clients and colleagues alike.
Located just a short walk from Moorgate, Liverpool Street and Bank stations, 25 Moorgate offers modern client facilities, flexible working spaces, staff wellbeing amenities and enhanced areas for collaboration. The building includes dedicated client floors and business lounge facilities, terraces, a rooftop club space and staff café.
Selected in part for its strong sustainability credentials, the building is designed as a high-quality, low-carbon office environment, incorporating reused materials, rainwater harvesting technology, energy-efficient glazing and insulation and renewable energy generation through rooftop solar photovoltaics. The building holds leading sustainability and wellbeing certifications, including BREEAM, NABERS and WELL.
The relocation forms part of a wider programme of investment across WFW’s international network, including recent office upgrades in Bangkok and Sydney.
WFW Managing Partner Lindsey Keeble commented: “Our move to 25 Moorgate represents much more than a change of address. It reflects our confidence in the future of our business and our ambition to create inspiring, sustainable workplaces across our global network. London remains a key hub for international business and our new office provides a fantastic environment for collaboration, client engagement and innovation. Whether clients and colleagues are based in London or simply passing through as part of their travels, we look forward to welcoming them to our new home”.
The fit-out was designed by architects TP Bennett with CBRE acting as project manager and Structure Tone serving as fit-out contractor. Squarebrook acted as WFW’s real estate advisor.
TP Bennett Principal Director Shane Kelly added: “The new London office of Watson Farley & Williams is designed with hospitality in mind. A mixture of collaborative working spaces, communal amenities and client suites offers employees and visitors a thoughtfully curated experience-driven workplace. By understanding the client’s need for a warm, welcoming environment, we’ve been able to truly embrace what makes the firm’s culture unique and create a shift in the way that law offices are expected to look and feel”.
