Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is delighted to announce that regulatory and administrative law specialists Giannalberto Mazzei, Arcangelo Pecchia, Federica Politi and Ludovica Cesari have joined WFW Italy. They all previously worked at Macchi di Cellere Gangemi.
They will work alongside Partner and regulatory and administrative law expert Tiziana Manenti and her existing team, bringing extensive experience advising on matters relating to public procurement, hard infrastructure, public utilities (local public transport and water services) and administrative litigation in the energy, infrastructure and transport sectors.
Giannalberto, who joins WFW as Counsel, was previously an in-house lawyer at Italy’s export credit agency SACE before becoming a Partner in the administrative and energy law team at Macchi di Cellere Gangemi for over ten years. He specialises in judicial and non-judicial advice to Italian and international industrial companies active in electricity production (both renewable and conventional) as well as the transportation and sale of natural gas, port works and regulatory matters pertaining to the energy market. This expertise also spans both regulatory (authorisation procedures, concessions, access to networks) and contractual issues related to the construction and management of infrastructure.
Arcangelo, who specialises in administrative litigation, consulting on public contracts and local public services, joins as Senior Associate. Federica, who specialises in public procurement and aviation, joins as an Associate and Ludovica as a Trainee.
This news follows the recent announcement that a new Aviation team also previously at Macchi di Cellere Gangemi have just joined WFW Italy.
