WFW Global Maritime Sector Head Lindsey Keeble named Lloyd’s List Top 10 Maritime Lawyer11 December 2019

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is delighted to announce that the firm’s Global Maritime Sector Head LINDSEY KEEBLE has been named one of Lloyd’s List Top 10 Maritime Lawyers for 2019, a highly prestigious nomination.

Lloyd’s List is one of the world’s oldest continuously-running journals, having provided weekly shipping news in London as early as 1734. Its annual Top Ten Maritime Lawyers ranking spans private practice solicitors, in-house counsel and barristers worldwide, making it is one of the greatest accolades a maritime-focussed lawyer can achieve in their career.

Lindsey was recognised not only for her expertise advising on structured finance and leasing transactions, especially those with ECA backing, but also for her in-depth knowledge of the LNG and cruise sectors and her role in helping draft the Poseidon Principles, the new environmentally-based lending criteria adopted by many major shipping banks this year which WFW helped develop.

Lindsey commented: ““I’m honoured to have been named one of the world’s leading maritime lawyers by Lloyd’s List in their highly regarded annual review of the shipping industry. This recognition could not have been achieved without the enthusiasm and dedication of the fantastic team of highly talented colleagues in the firm’s Maritime Group worldwide”.
