WFW excels in H1 2025 Energy and Infrastructure League Tables1 September 2025

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is pleased to announce the firm achieved strong results in the H1 2025 energy and infrastructure league tables in leading sector publications IJGlobal, Inframation and inspiratia.

The firm achieved 17 first place Inframation rankings, up from 11 in H1 2024, including:

  • first by deal count, Europe;
  • first by deal count, Spain;
  • first by deal count, project finance, Europe;
  • first by deal count, project finance, Spain;
  • first by deal value, project finance, Spain;
  • first by deal count, Energy Transition and Renewables, EMEA;
  • first by deal count, Energy Transition and Renewables, Europe;
  • first by deal count, Energy Transition and Renewables, Spain;
  • first by deal value, Energy Transition and Renewables, Spain;
  • first by deal count, Energy Transition and Renewables, UK;
  • first by deal count, Renewables, Global;
  • first by deal count, Renewables, EMEA;
  • first by deal count, Renewables, Europe;
  • first by deal count, Renewables, Germany;
  • first by deal count, Renewables, Italy;
  • first by deal count, Renewables, Spain; and
  • first by deal value, Renewables, Spain.

In inspiratia, the firm scored the top spot for volume of deals in Europe, after placing second in H1 2024, whilst also rising one place to second by volume of deals globally.

IJGlobal’s rankings saw WFW attain twelve top 20 rankings, with four in the top ten. These included coming second by deal value for transport project finance and fourth for transport infrastructure finance, significantly higher than its H1 2024 rankings.
