WFW boosts Hamburg office with new corporate Partner Björn-Axel Dißars1 June 2017

International law firm Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is pleased to announce that Dr Björn-Axel Dißars is joining the firm’s Hamburg office as a Partner in the energy and infrastructure practice as of 1 June 2017. He was previously a Partner with Latham & Watkins in the same city.

Björn-Axel Dißars is an experienced lawyer with extensive expertise in both domestic and international corporate-M&A, as well as dispute resolution with a focus on the oil & gas, international trade and maritime sectors. He primarily advises strategic investors and companies on complex contract negotiations, M&A transactions and adversary proceedings.

With the addition of Björn-Axel Dißars, WFW strengthens its German corporate offering and continues its expansion in Hamburg. In recent years, the German corporate team has been notable for its role advising on numerous high profile M&A transactions, most notably in the energy, infrastructure and private equity sectors. The team now comprises 38 lawyers.
