She has a particular focus advising both state and privately-owned China-based entities from a broad range of industries including energy, infrastructure and mining on investing in South East Asia, most notably in Thailand and Vietnam.
WFW Bangkok Office Head Steven Burkill commented: “With her extensive corporate experience, Ivy represents a perfect strategic fit with our existing Asian office network. I’m delighted to welcome her to both WFW Bangkok and the wider firm”.
WFW Singapore Head Mei Lin Goh concurred, adding: “Given Singapore’s standing as South East Asia’s key legal and business hub, we look forward to working very closely with Ivy to offer her clients the local and regional support which they require. Her expertise will be an excellent addition to the service we can offer our clients in the energy and infrastructure industries, and her experience will also help expand the firm’s footprint in the fast expanding tech sector”.
Ivy said: “With its established network across South East Asia and its talented lawyers, WFW is an excellent platform from which I can both grow my practice and enhance the service I can offer my clients. I greatly look forward to working with my new colleagues to further expand the firm’s reach across the region”.
