WFW has advised Rabobank and BNP Paribas, acting as mandated lead arrangers and lenders, on a €146.6m green financing granted to Zelestra for the construction of six solar PV plants with an aggregated capacity of 237 MW located in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. The projects will all be operational by 2026.

The WFW Madrid Finance team that advised the banks was led by Partner Rodrigo Berasategui, working closely with Senior Associates Laura Fontán and Antón Ramil and Associate Diana Palazón.
Rodrigo commented: “I am honoured to have advised Rabobank and BNP Paribas on this challenging transaction. Large-scale green financings like this one are crucial for channelling capital into renewable energy projects and accelerating Spain’s decarbonisation process”.
