WFW advises OTE on update of €6.5bn GMTN Programme20 May 2020

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised OTE Plc.  on the update of its €6.5bn Global Medium Term Note Programme listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. The Programme is guaranteed by Hellenic Telecommunications Organization S.A (“HTO”).

HTO is the largest telecommunications provider in Greece, and, together with its subsidiaries, forms one of the leading telecom groups in South-eastern Europe. It is among the largest listed companies on the Athens Stock Exchange and employs approximately 22,000 people in three countries.

The WFW London team that advised OTE was led by Partner Simon Ovenden, supported by Senior Associate Sarah Williamson, Associate Sebastian Lello and Trainee Jack Ellison.
