WFW advises Orrick on 4,000+ sqm Paris office lease27 September 2021

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised international law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP (“Orrick”) on the signing of a commercial lease for office space in the Belles Feuilles building in Paris with Générale Continentale Investissements (“GCI”), which jointly owns the building with Lone Star Real Estate Fund V (“Lone Star”). Orrick will rent 4,000 sqm+ of Belle Feuilles, about a third of the building.

Located in Paris’ 16th arrondissement, Belles Feuilles comprises 12,000 sq. metres of office space spread across seven floors and including 231 parking spaces. The building is being refurbished by architecture firm DTACC to provide high quality new features for tenants including a central patio and terraces. The building will be compliant with CSR and environmental certifications and completion is expected in early 2022.

Founded in 1975, GCI is one of France’s leading real estate investors and developers. To date, it has invested in 1.7m+ sqm of high-quality office space in the main business districts of Paris and other major French cities. Lone Star is a leading private equity firm advising funds in global real estate, equity, credit and other financial assets.

WFW Paris Real Estate Partner Cyrille Gogny-Goubert advised Orrick on the negotiation and signing of their commercial with GCI.

CBRE acted as real estate advisors to both Orrick, GCI and Lone Star. The latter two were also assisted by Archers and Europtima.
