WFW advises Norma Capital on sale & leaseback acquisition of logistics complex from Monoprix20 January 2021

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised Norma Capital, an independent management company, on the acquisition of a 3,201 sq. meters warehouse and office complex located in Joué-Lès-Tours in the French department of Indre-et-Loire from Samada, a logistics subsidiary of French retail chain Monoprix and current occupier of the premises.

The acquisition was carried out on behalf of SCPI Vendôme Régions, a real estate investment vehicle managed by Norma Capital which currently owns c.60 office and logistics buildings across France. A green lease has been agreed with Samada for the latter to continue to occupy the premises for a minimum firm term of six years.

WFW assisted Norma Capital in relation to the negotiation of the lease agreement between them and Samada.

The WFW Paris Real Estate team advising Norma Capital was led by Partner Cyrille Gogny-Goubert, supported by Associate Catherine Masquelet.

Norma Capital was also assisted by notaries Charles Massuelle (Partner) and Léandre Alix (Associate) from Notaires du Louvre.

Samada was assisted by Etude LEXFAIR (Me Olaf Déchin).
