WFW advises German asset and investment manager KGAL on acquisition of two French photovoltaic power plants9 February 2018

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised KGAL, a leading independent asset and investment manager with  €21.5bn under management across 87,000 investors, on all aspects of the acquisition of two project companies owning two French photovoltaic plants, with an overall installed capacity of 18.58 MW, from French developer Solairedirect. The WFW team also assisted KGAL on the negotiation of the project contracts with Solairedirect.

The Greoux 7 solar power plant has a capacity of 11.55 MW and is located in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and the Salaunes 3 solar power plant a capacity of 7.03 MW and is locatedin Gironde.

The multidisciplinary WFW Paris team advising KGAL was led by corporate Partner Vincent Trevisani, assisted by Senior Associate Sabrina Delean and Associates Inès Garcia de las Bayonas and Charles-Douglas Fuz. Public/regulatory law advice was provided by a team led by Partner Arnaud Troizier.
