Located in Upper Boat, Pontypridd, South Wales, the synchronous condensers form part of the UK National Energy System Operator’s Pathfinder 3 programme.

The financing was provided as part of KfW’s Programme 269 “Investment Loan for Sustainable Mobility” and will be used to order additional locomotives.
