With a fleet of 302 modern container ships and a total transport capacity of 2.5m TEU, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world’s leading liner shipping companies.
The acquisition values the business at approximately £5.7bn (US$7.7 bn).
The firm achieved 22 first place Inframation rankings, up from 17 in H1 2025.
