Valina is Counsel in the Project & Structured Finance Group.
Valina specialises in project finance, with a particular focus on renewable energy projects, having extensive experience on both domestic and multijurisdictional transactions, acting for both financiers and sponsors.
She also advises on asset finance deals (with emphasis on shipping and aviation).
Valina joined the firm in 2007.
- Advising NBG on landmark €357m facility for DEFSA privatisation
- Advising CACIB in relation to a US$173.5m loan facility for Euronav NV providing financing for four ice-class suezmax newbuildings under construction by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.
- Advising EBRD on a €50m Greek law financing and Pireaus Bank S.A. on a €10m Greek law parallel financing in the Terna Energy group.
- Advising Natixis on the €32.5m aggregate refinancing of two Greek flag passenger ferries by ANEK Lines S.A. by way of sale and charter back.
