Tom O’Kane

Tom is an associate in the Assets and Structured Finance Group.
Tom advises banks, financial institutions, lessors, owners and operators on a range of cross-border finance transactions across the aviation, maritime and rail sectors. His experience covers all aspects of loan, security and leasing documentation.
He advises clients on finance leases, sale and leaseback transactions and portfolio aircraft sales and novations. He also advises buyers and sellers on sale and purchase transactions.
Tom joined the firm as a trainee in 2024 and qualified in 2026. During his time at the firm, he has worked in both the London and Singapore offices.
- Advising GDHF on a €125m+ loan facility with Helaba Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen and Bayerische Landesbank for the acquisition of multiple factory new Airbus H175 and H160 helicopters scheduled for delivery in 2026 and 2027.
- Advising ING on two loans totalling over US$100m granted to Premuda to support both its recently announced management buyout and to refinance the acquisition of two tankers both already under its management.
