Shaun is a Senior Associate in the FIrm’s Corporate Group.
Shaun has experience advising clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, and strategic joint ventures in the energy, commodities and international trade, mining and oil and gas sectors. Shaun has also spent a period of time on secondment with a global power and renewable energy investment and development platform.
- Advising TEPCO Renewable Power, Incorporated on its acquisition of Flotation Energy. This was TEPCO’s first major venture outside of Japan and gives TEPCO a significant portfolio of assets, across the UK, Ireland, Taiwan, Japan and Australia.
- Advising BlueFloat Energy on the formation of its new partnership with Falck Renewables and Ørsted to participate in the upcoming ScotWind leasing round. This new consortium will apply for seabed leases in sites which lend themselves to the deployment of large-scale floating wind technology.
- Advising Southwind Corporation and its founders on its combination with First Uranium Resources Limited, which is listed on CSE.
- Advising a UK-based telecommunications company on its collaboration with an IT infrastructure conglomerate in relation to the NEOM Project, comprising the negotiation of operating and joint venture agreements.
