Royce is a Senior Associate in the Assets and Structured Finance group.
Royce specialises in asset and structured finance with a particular focus on the aviation and shipping sectors.
He advises clients on a broad range of financing and transactional matters, including syndicated loans, pre- and post-delivery financings, ECA-supported transactions (notably involving Eksfin, KEXIM, KOBC and K-Sure), asset sale and purchase, cross-border and domestic lease and charter arrangements, JOLCO structures, portfolio transactions and the granting and enforcement of security.
In 2026, he was recognised as an Ishka Airfinance Rising Star, an industry accolade recognising the most promising emerging aviation finance professionals for their expertise, impact and contribution to the sector.
Royce is a native Korean speaker and previously served as an interpretation officer for the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Korea. He is qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales.
- Advising for Singapore Airlines in respect of the JOLCO financing of four Boeing 787-10 aircraft involving multiple international banks.
- Advising LBBW on the financing of two A321-aircraft for Korean Air.
- Acting for various banks on the financing of private jets for a high-profile group in India.
- Acting for international lessors on various sale and purchase, lease novation and financing transactions.
- Advising a syndicate of lenders on the financing and delivery of Hyundai Glovis’ first LNG carrier and two dual fueled LPG vessels.
- Advising a syndicate of lenders and ECAs on a ECA backed financing of five container vessels for Ocean Network Express.
- Advising a syndicate of lenders in respect of six VLECs for MISC.
- Advising a syndicate of lenders on the refinancing of a revolving credit facility for AET.
- Advising Citibank on an Eksfin backed financing of two CSOVs to Purus.
