Rob is a Partner in the Capital Markets Group.
Rob has a broad practice across the debt capital markets, structured products and derivatives markets, as well as having considerable experience of a range of bank financings, particularly in the area of mezzanine and other subordinated investment structures. His clients include leading investment banks, private equity and hedge funds and major international corporates across a wide range of industries and sectors.
Rob is widely recognised, most recently by IFLR 1000, as a leading individual within the European derivatives market particularly with respect to finance-linked and other structured swaps, as well as structured commodity swaps and credit default swaps.
- A syndicate of international and local commercial banks on the interest rate and currency hedging elements of the US$3bn project financing of the Changfang and Xidao Taiwanese offshore wind projects.
- Goldman Sachs International in relation to numerous currency, commodity and interest rate hedging in respect of its leveraged finance, projects and structured finance transactions.
- The hedging banks on an award winning £1.3bn financing for the acquisition by PKA and PFA of a 50% stake in the 659 MW Walney Extension offshore wind farm.
- Chaarat Gold Holdings Ltd on the successful closing of the first phase of an up to US$100m convertible debt placement with both new and existing investors.
- A consortium of banks as lenders on the hedging arrangements for the €988m financing of the 252 MW Deutsche Bucht offshore wind farm project.
