Rachel is an Associate in the London Projects Group.
Rachel specialises in project finance transactions in the renewable energy and oil and gas sectors, acting for banks, financial institutions, borrowers and developers. She also has M&A experience.
Since joining the firm, Rachel has undertaken a client secondment at an oil and gas exploration & production company and worked in the London, Singapore and Dubai offices.
- Advising Sonnedix on the financing of its first set of sustainability-linked corporate loan facilities which will enable it to refinance its existing debt and further expand its global renewable energy platform.
- Advising Vancouver-based San Cristobal Mining Inc. on the financing for its purchase of the San Cristóbal mine in Bolivia from Sumitomo Corporation. The San Cristóbal mine has one of the largest deposits of zinc, lead, and silver in the world and is the largest mining operation in Bolivia.
- Advising BW Energy on an up to US$300m new international reserve-based lending facility. The facility will be used initially to further finance and develop the Dussafu license offshore Gabon.
- Advising InfraRed Capital Partners, investment manager to The Renewables Infrastructure Group (“TRIG”), on TRIG’s acquisition of a 17.5% equity interest in the Beatrice offshore wind farm.
