LOUISE IS A PARTNER IN THE ASSETS AND STRUCTURED FINANCE GROUP.
She has significant expertise in the rail and aviation sectors. Her transactional experience includes secured debt, common terms platform and ECA-supported financings, leasing company and asset acquisitions and sales, as well as operating and finance leases.
Louise has represented some of the world’s largest leasing companies, operators and banks and has recently acted for Alpha Trains, Streem, Nexrail, Eliance, ING Bank and the European ECAs.
Prior to joining the firm, Louise spent 12 years with White & Case, including three years in their Paris office. During this time, Louise was seconded to Angel Trains, where she advised on numerous aspects of their corporate and financial restructuring, prior to their sale by RBS in 2008, as well as on their day-to-day operational matters.
She is ranked as a Leading Partner for Transport Finance and Leasing by Legal 500 UK 2026 and as a leading lawyer for Rail Finance by Chambers UK 2026, which noted “Louise is very approachable, hands-on and a true expert who has both the legal expertise as well as the sector knowledge” and “an excellent business partner.”
- Advised Streem Holding on its private placement offering, involving multiple tranches of fixed and floating rate notes.
- Advised Nexrail on the closure of Project Sigma, a €322m sustainability-linked debt facility with a syndicate of ten banks.
- Advising Alpha Trains on its raising of €548m in a combination of senior and HoldCo level secured bank debt within its existing common terms financing platform.
- Advising ING Bank N.V. on a €375m debt refinancing and new capex facility for ITE Management’s European rail financing platform.
- Advising a consortium of investors on a €200m subordinated financing granted to RAILPOOL GmbH to support its continued growth.
- Advising Eliance Holding Company on the refinancing of its existing group debt as well as an additional facility for capex and growth. The deal won Helicopter Investor’s Critical Mission Deal of the Year 2026.
- Advising Bpifrance and HSBC on the ECA-supported refinancing of two Airbus aircraft for SMBC Aviation Capital, on lease to Aegean Airlines and Volaris.
- Advising Avolon on the lease of six Boeing 737-Max aircraft on lease to Royal Air Maroc.
