Elena is an Associate in the Assets & Structured Finance Group.

Elena specialises in shipping finance, acting on behalf of banks, financial institutions and ship owning companies.

Her main areas of practice include the representation of shipping lenders and ship-owning groups in the financing of newbuilding and second-hand vessels as well as the negotiation and drafting of documentation relating to the sale, purchase, and operation of vessels.

Elena holds an LL.B. and an LL.M. in Commercial Law from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an LL.M. in Maritime Law from the University of Southampton.

Prior to joining the firm in 2023, she worked in a Piraeus-based international law firm.
