Ben specialises in banking and project finance transactions in the renewable energy and oil and gas sectors, acting for financial institutions and borrowers both domestically and internationally.

Since joining the firm, Ben has worked in the firm’s London and Athens offices.

  • Advising the lenders to DIF Capital Partners, via its DIF Infrastructure VII fund, on the financing of a 540 MW portfolio of co-located UK solar generation and battery storage assets comprising seven ready-to-build sites.
  • Advising BW Energy on an up to US$300 new international reserve-based lending facility. The facility will be used initially to further finance and develop the Dussafu licence offshore Gabon.
  • Advising a group of lenders on the £350m refinancing of West Burton Energy’s UK Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (“CCGT”) and 49 MW battery storage facility located in Nottinghamshire, UK. This is the largest UK gas generation project in over a decade.
