Named and established in honour of the firm’s greatly missed former Singapore Office Head, The Mei Lin Goh Study Abroad Scholarship was established with the University of Nottingham, where Mei was a School of Law alumna.

Since launching their ‘How to be an effective LGBT+ Ally’ guide in 2021, the network has organised a range of activities to help colleagues learn from the experiences of LGBT+ people and share simple steps that people can take to show their support.

October marks Black History Month in the UK. This is a time to celebrate all those who have achieved great things and remember the progress that has been made, but it can be more than a retrospective of the past. It is also about looking to the future and reminding ourselves of the work still left to do.
Alex Slade was a trainee at the firm from 1999 to 2001. He is now General Counsel of Arena Racing Company (ARC) which owns and operates 16 racecourses and four greyhound tracks in the UK as well as several hotels and golf courses.
