‘Energy Insights Webinar Series’ – In conversation with… Lord Deben
The Energy sector is undergoing a period of change, reflection and criticism. Though with a focus on carbon neutrality, renewable energy and climate change policy there is also a lot to be optimistic about.
Stepping away from slides, charts and numbers, we have invited key figures and agents of change in the sector to join us for a relaxed and open conversation about what they see as the main priorities for the energy industry to focus on to sustain momentum and impact in the coming years. Each event will be delivered as a 45 minute Q&A, with introductions provided by WFW Co-Heads of Energy, Henry Stewart and Malte Jordan.
We invite you to sit back, make yourself a drink and join us for this exclusive, engaging and inspiring event series.
The Rt. Hon John Gummer, Lord Deben
Lord Deben is currently Chairman of the Committee on Climate Change (the CCC) and was the longest serving UK Secretary of State for the Environment. He set up and now runs Sancroft, a Corporate Responsibility consultancy working with blue-chip companies around the world on environmental, social and ethical issues. We will ask Lord Deben about the work of the CCC, and his hopes for the direction of policy and action in the UK.
