Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) successfully represented Mr Marc Bourgade (“Mr Bourgade”) in Roman court proceedings over the disputed ownership of Aeroitalia S.p.A. (“Aeroitalia”), of which he is president and sole shareholder.
The counterparty sought a judicial seizure of Mr Bourgade’s entire equity stake in Aeroitalia. By fully rejecting this request, the Rome Court endorsed WFW’s position that the conditions for granting such an extraordinary measure were not met, confirming Mr Bourgade’s full control of the company.
Established in 2022, Aeroitalia is one of Italy’s leading airlines, operating numerous routes across Italy and Europe.
