Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is delighted to announce that its Paris office was named “Law Firm of the Year” in the Energy Greenfield and Refinancing categories by leading French business publication Magazine des Affaires at their award ceremony held at the Salons de l’Aéro-club de France in Paris on 28 March 2018.
Now in its fourth year, the “Grands Prix” ceremony is organised annually by Magazine des Affaires. These awards are based on each firm’s landmark deals and other notable achievements in the past year. It also honours and identifies the most important and complex transactions in the French infrastructure, energy, M&A, and restructuring markets.
This is not the first time Magazine des Affaires has recognised the firm’s expertise in the energy sector, having named WFW “Law Firm of the Year” in the Energy Greenfield category in 2017 and 2016, and in the Brownfield infrastructure category in 2015. These new awards demonstrate the strength and breadth of our practice in France.
