WFW advises on Tages Helios’ Italian solar portfolio project financing by BPER Banca23 October 2018

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) advised Tages Helios and Delos Power Group on the corporate reorganisation and refinancing of a solar portfolio owned by Sicilia Solare S.r.l., an SPV of Delos Power S.r.l. The solar plants are located in Sicily (Italy).

The financing was provided by BPER Banca S.p.A. a commercial bank, which is the parent entity of the BPER Group, one of Italy’s leading banking groups.

Tages Helios is the first infrastructure fund launched by Tages Capital which is entirely dedicated to the Italian photovoltaic sector. The fund is a closed-end reserved real estate fund under Italian law and its objective is investment in existing, operational photovoltaic plants for the production of electricity, located in Italy.

Delos Power is the result of a partnership signed between Tages Helios and Renam S.r.l, company belonging to Hideal Partners Group, providing professional asset management for the management of renewable energy production plants, with a focus on photovoltaic plants.

With this transaction, Tages Helios has successful closed the fourth of its innovative financing structures and completed the investment closed in December 2017 with the acquisition from Italian industrial group Maccaferri of a portfolio including of Sicilia Solare S.r.l..
