WFW advises on €40m Italian wind farm project financing20 November 2017

International law firm Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW“) has advised UniCredit S.p.A. on the circa €40m project financing of a 54 MW wind plant located in Grottole Municipality, in the Basilicata region of Italy.

The plant is owned by an SPV of Fri-El Group, one of Italy’s leading green energy company, active in the Italian wind sector since 2002.

UniCredit is a major Italian global banking and financial services company.

The WFW Italy team advising UniCredit S.p.A. was led by Finance Partner Pierpaolo Mastromarini, assisted by Associate Daniele Pompei as project manager. Counsel Alessia Marconi (Administrative Law), assisted by Associates Anthony Bellacci (Corporate and Dispute Resolution) and Gianluca Di Stefano (Corporate), advised on legal due diligence matters.
